Crying Wolf to Get Out of School

My 9-year-old daughter has been giving us FITS over the past month trying to get out of going to school. She's 'sick' or 'hurt' every single day. What's funny is that she 'forgets', and I'll catch her running, playing, fighting with her brother, etc. Yesterday, she took off running across the field when it was time to get in the truck. The only problem that I could coax out of her is that she hadn't had anyone to play with for the past two months. She also told me that her teacher tells her that she's stupid (which doesn't sound right and I'm not sure whether to believe it). I finally broke down and called the school counselor to get her to investigate. She was supposed to call me back yesterday to let me know what she found out, but she didn't. My daughter did get moved next to one of her friends though, and I thought that would take care of it. Nope! This morning her leg 'hurt' and she screamed and cried and told me that I was mean and didn't love her, etc. I had decided to let her stay home and take her to the doctor AGAIN to see if she had 'hurt' her leg (the latest complaint). I walked into the living room and saw a smirk across her face which made me so angry that I put her clothes on her myself and marched her right out the door and took her to school. When she got out of the truck, she told me that she hopes that something bad happens to me now. I noticed that she was barely limping walking into the school. I'm at my wits end with this child, and the daily screaming and crying fits have taken their toll on my whole family. Needless to say, it starts all our days off badly. I'm pulling my hair out here. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you resolve it? Thanks for your input.
